Hi,

In looking at the web site, it looks like the latest update is from October 2007.
Is this product still being maintained (bug fixes updates for OS compatibility)? Is the latest version of JCAPI compatible with the latest versions of Vista and XP? We evaluated this product a few years ago and are interesting taking another look. Please let me know.

Hi Tom,

Yes, JCAPI is still maintained. The latest release is from December 2007, and it won't begin EOL (End Of Life) until JCAPI v2.0 has been released.

Current version of JCAP is compatible from Vista down to Win98.

Thanks for information this is helpful. Any projection when JCAPI 2.0 will be released? IF we get a license for the current product will we be able to upgrade when 2.0 is available?

Hi Tom,

Hopefully, we'll have JCAPI v2.0 to be launched during Q3 this year.
The precise upgrade discount for existing customers is not yet decided, but it will be around 40%.
